Another consideration is the limited visa options for prolonged stays in Thailand. However, as discussed earlier, the Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa stands out as a viable choice for individuals seeking an extended sojourn in the country.

Is Thailand LGBTQ + Friendly

While the Thai government may lag behind in achieving equal rights for LGBTQ+ individuals, the majority of locals are known for their welcoming attitude. Numerous LGBTQ+ visitors have recounted feeling comfortable during their trips to Thailand, emphasizing the inclusive environment. Notably, Thailand boasts a sizable and vibrant transgender community.
