A camping experience in the isolated part of Nepal, Upper Dolpo Trek is a recently established trekking. It was restricted for foreign tourists until the late eighties and still, tourists are only allowed to visit the region with a special permit. Located in western Nepal, Upper Dolpo is also linked with the Tibetan border and hence, the lifestyle and culture are somehow similar to the Tibetans. The largest district of Nepal on the basis of land, Upper Dolpo is comprised of terrestrial structures pretty alike Tibetan plateaus.
